Chers profs,

Pourriez-vous me corriger ces phrases, SVP?

1) Let us know when the plumber will be coming to repair the sink.
Lorsque le plombier viendra réparer l’évier, faites-le nous savoir.
2) We don't know when he will come, but when he comes, tell him we want to talk to him.
Nous ne savons pas quand il viendra mais lorsqu’il le fera, dites lui que nous voulons lui parler.
3) We were wondering when you would be free to come round for dinner.
Nous nous demandions quand il sera / serait disposé (?) à venir dîner.
4) I wish he would stop shouting = Comme j’aimerais qu’il arrête de crier!
5) I wish he could understand my reasons for refusing.
Je souhaiterais / J’aimerais qu’il comprenne les raisons de mon refus.
6) No sooner had he finished than the bell rang.
Il avait à peine terminé son exercice que la cloche retentit.

1) est-tu certain d'employer will be coming ?

Sinon pour le reste, çà semble correct, ton niveau d'anglais est très bon. Attends l'avis de Papy84 ou Jean.

Après 10 mn de correction, ma réponse est "passée à la trappe" malgré que je sois "identifié". Warum denn ?

Je recommence :

1) Let us know when the plumber will be coming to repair the sink.
Lorsque le plombier viendra réparer l’évier, faites-le nous savoir.
OK, mais inutile de changer l'ordre des propositions. ("Faites-nous savoir quand...)

2) We don't know when he will come, but when he comes, tell him we want to talk to him.
Nous ne savons pas quand il viendra mais lorsqu’il le fera, dites-lui que nous voulons lui parler.
OK

3) We were wondering when you would be free to come round for dinner.
Nous nous demandions quand <il sera /serait > TU / VOUS SERAIS / SERIEZ <disposé (?) à> LIBRE POUR venir dîner.

4) I wish he would stop shouting = Comme j’aimerais qu’il arrête de crier!
OK, mais "Comme" est inutile.

5) I wish he could understand my reasons for refusing.
Je souhaiterais / J’aimerais qu’il comprenne les raisons de mon refus.
OK (on peut ajouter "qu'il puisse comprendre..." pour rendre le sens de "could")

6) No sooner had he finished than the bell rang.
Il avait à peine terminé son exercice que la cloche retentit.
OK (ou : À peine avait-il terminé...)
