Correction d'un exposé
Bonsoir,
Voilà je dois faire un exposé sur Guillaume Le Conquérant et plus précisement sur l’année 1066...
Consigne de la professeur :
You must say why 1066 is an important date.
Voici ce que mon groupe et moi avons fait:
I. The battle of Hastings
The Battle of Hastings (sometimes called Bataille of Senlac) is a battle which took place on October 14, 1066 to eight kilometers in north d'Hastings, in the county of Sussex of l'Est, in the south of l'Angleterre, which opposed the last Anglo-Saxon king of the country, Harold Godwinson, with the duke of Normandy, William the Conqueror, and who devoted the beginning of the conquest of l'Angleterre by this last.
After his victory, Guillaume is made crown king d'Angleterre with l'abbaye of Westminster, December 25 of the same year and moves while waiting for the construction of the tower of London.
II. The norman conquest
The conquest Norman of England who descrive les faits relatifs à la conquête de l'Angleterre en 1066HYPERLINK "file:///wiki/1066" is the invasion of the kingdom of England by the duke of Normandy William the Conqueror, which culminated with the battle of Hastings in 1066 and which resulted in the appropriation of this territory by the Norman ones. It is prolonged nearly five years, until 1070. It is an important event in the medieval history. It holds for consequence the first meeting of the duchy of Normandy and the kingdom of England under the authority of the same man: William the Conqueror. This conquest represents, for a good number of reasons, an important dividing line in the history of England and even of Europe. England was indeed completely upset by the event. The conquerors brought their language and their culture. Especially, 1066 prepare the rise to power of England which soon will intègrera the circle of the most powerful monarchies of Europe. Lastly, the conquest sets up the elements of a conflict with France which will be prolonged until the XIXe century. To date, the exploit of the duke of Normandy remains the last successful conquest of England.
III. The Tower of London
Parler de la tour de Londres: construite en 1066 par guillaume le conquérant
After the English'conquest by the Norman in 1066, William the Conqueror decided to live to London and reinforce by three turns of which one was built out of wood from 1067.
Merci d’avance,
Bonne soirée!
